How Are We Timing You?
We are using disposable chips that tie onto your running shoes. Your chips will be in the envelope you pick up on Saturday that also includes your race bib. You will be also provided ties to attach the chips to your shoes.

These chips must be worn on your shoes in order for your time to be recorded. They won’t work if they are in your pocket or elsewhere.

Once you cross the finish line, you do not have to remove your chip. It is yours to keep or dispose of (they are silicon and bio-degradable).

*Do NOT come back across the finish line after you have finished. If you insist on coming back across please remove your chip from your shoe before doing so. The detection range of the mats is quite large. Please stay away from the black mats before and after the race to avoid being read at times other than your actual start and finish. The timing chips are single use. Do not wear them at another race.

Race Bibs
You will receive a race bib in your registration packet. This must be pinned to your FRONT and visible to race officials before the race and when you cross the finish line. Safety pins will be available at the registration tables.

If you don’t have a bib on your front at the start line, you will not be allowed to participate in the race.

Start/Finish Line
The start/finish line for both races is on the drive leading to Antler Hill Village. If you have raced at the Biltmore Kiwanis 15K before, our start line is closer to Antler Hill Village than theirs.

Restrooms are located inside Antler Hill Village and in the parking lot.

Course Markings/Etiquette
Turns on both courses are designated with yard signs and volunteers stationed at most turns. The rule is simple: If a sign or person doesn’t tell you to turn, don’t turn.

Please stay to the right side of the road at all times.
