Dear Congressional
Representative,
As
your constituent, I urge you to secure additional federal
funding for our state’s AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP),
which provides life-saving medications to low-income North
Carolinians living with HIV/AIDS.
NC
has the most restrictive ADAP financial eligibility criteria
of any state. Given the state budget crisis, we desperately need
federal assistance to ensure
that ADAP remains open to HIV+ people at or below 125% of
FPL. On behalf of the 35,000 North Carolinians living with
HIV/AIDS & their loved ones, I ask for your help.
