HIV/AIDS Advocacy Day- 2011 HIV/AIDS Advocacy Day is an all day event at the state capital in Raleigh where advocates from across North Carolina gather to raise awareness and meet with their legislators. This April, Western North Carolina AIDS Project sent a delegation of staff, volunteers, Sista Facilitators, medical professionals and clients from our region to educate our elected officials on the importance of early and uninterrupted access to HIV medications.
